New Academic Year, new fencers

Well, its been a busy few weeks with all our schools coming back and beginning their fencing again as well as new schools joining us and trying fencing for the first time.

We have sadly had to say bye to Ben Hodgeson as he relocated to London, we wish him all the best.

There is the new venture of Leweston Eagles welcoming new fencers over in Dorset and we are already planning the Easter and Summer Camps for next year.

(Lewston Eagles is now Buccaneer Eagles)

Jim Perry Tournament at Perrott Hill

November 25th was a special day for us with the first Jim Perry Tournament held at Perrott Hill School in Somerset.

Professor Perry was a Fencing Master dedicated to bringing fencing to as many youngsters as possible and marking his remarkable work was an honour we hope to continue every year.
It was a wonderful day full of friendship, fencing and with the help of two great coaches Kevin Nelson and Ben Hodgeson, the children from four different schools came together to enjoy, what was for many of them , their first competition.
