Scout Camp

Wednesday, March 31st, 2010

I have just been signed up to teach some sword skills at a scout camp in May.  I have a feeling its going to be a really fun day. There is a Roman theme so I may have to grab some sandals and a helmet!!

I’ll just start praying for some Italian summer weather now.

Coming to Easter

Wednesday, March 24th, 2010

I have had a great term with some new schools beginning to fence and some old ones continuing with fencing.  I have already finished some of the courses and said my goodbyes to Wynstones and, later this week, Huntley. The rest are finishing next week and Im looking forward to the end of term displays that are being practised to perfection!

Next term I will be working with some new schools, Rose Hill, Westonbirt, Avening and Horsley as well as expanding the club at The Acorn (Very exciting).

Before then Im taking the chance to squeeze in some more professional development with the University of Gloucestershire taking some very interesting seminars.

I would like to say a BIG “Happy Easter” to all my students and hope that they have a great holiday.
