Woodcraft Folk Fencing

Thursday, January 21st, 2010

I got the chance to take fencing to Woodcraft Folk this evening. www.woodcraft.org.uk
They were a lovely group, very attentive and fast to pick up the moves. It was great to have such a keen group and I hope some of them will bear fencing in mind in the future as there was real potential there.

Off to a primary school in the Forest of Dean tomorrow ( thank goodness the snow has gone) and then a birthday party on Saturday!!

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

Spent a great evening with the Explorer scouts last night. We had 3 experienced fencers and some seriously quick learners! Im back again next week and cant wait to see what suprises the next group are going to throw at me! As for the gingerbread, well……….. Im speechless – looked wonderful and tasted even better!

I will also have my new consignment of chest protectors so there will be no holding back!
